That was a fast and hard start to a race with no let up in sight, not ,much work wanting to be done on the front in the later parts of the race, so it was always going to come down to a sprint after the Solo breakaway was left to run wild out front. 

With some hard racing on the legs this was always going to be a hard evening out for me, but I set my target on getting as much KOM points as I could for one last time.

Now for some recovery.
